Green Aware Sligo

July 4, 2018KeepSligoBeautiful

Green Aware Sligo is a great new initiative from STT partners, Sligo County Council, aimed at encouraging members of the public to become more waste aware.

In the next 9 weeks throughout July and August  one waste topic per week will be highlighted starting this week with the problem of illegal dumping.

A series of items – radio interview on Ocean FM (Monday 10:30am), article in the Sligo Champion (Tuesday May 3rd) and a number of social media posts will help underline this problem and suggest solutions for the consumer.

We hope you can help share this content online.

Please retweet/share any content you see coming from the official Sligo County Council accounts using the hashtags #greenawaresligo and #saynotodumping.

You’ll be able to view and follow all of this content at www.sligococo.ie/greenaware.

It is great to see these bulbs start to bloom with the warmer weather and more daylight.

Looking forward to seeing daffodils bloom in the weeks ahead.
