Good Friday Clean Up

April 18, 2017sligotown

Despite a wet night before the annual Good Friday clean-up there was a great turnout with representatives from the Cubs, Abbvie, and many other community groups joining STT volunteers.

A huge amount of rubbish was collected from verges, ditches, paths and greens areas on the approaches to Sligo and collected by our partners in Sligo County Council making Sligo a more beautiful place for everyone.

Don’t worry if you couldn’t make it on Good Friday. Sligo needs volunteers all year round for our Built Environment, Litter Patrol and our residential committees.

Keep an eye on our Facebook Page or drop us a line if you want to get involved.
