Special Olympics – Freezin For a Reason

November 14, 2017sligotown

Special Olympics Connaught is calling on Sligo to get ‘Freezin’ for a Reason’ this December and raise funds for local athletes with intellectual disabilities. Inaugural Polar Plunge will take place at Rosses Point on December 9th at 11am
Those who think they are brave enough to take the Polar Plunge can register at
https://community.specialolympics.ie/…/mcf-17-co-polarplung…
Registration costs just €20 with plungers asked to raise at least an additional €50. You also have the option to set up your own fundraising page https://polar-plunge-2017-rosses-point-sligo.everydayhero.c…
If you are not brave enough to take the plunge yourself why not join with your colleagues and raise €200 to ‘Toss your Boss’ for this worthy cause.
All monies raised go directly to supporting athletes with intellectual disabilities in sport and competitions. Plungers who raise more than €70 will also receive a complimentary Polar Plunge T-Shirt.
